A civic donation of the Wood Family, the fishing bridge was designed by artist Siah Armajani. The modern structure rests on top of an old railroad trestle, which served Beloit’s industries from 1926 to 1986, and boasts an aluminum shell replica of a Fairbanks-Morse locomotive engine.
