Synopsis: Beyond Fordlândia presents an environmental account ninety years after Henry Ford’s Amazon experience. In 1927 the Ford Motor Company attempted to establish rubber plantations on the Tapajós River, a primary tributary of the Amazon.
Admission is $5 adults, $2 students, or free to members of the Film Society of Beloit. Films start at 6:30pm and free coffee, dessert and water are provided at each program.
